Due to the lack of electricity and water amid the scorching heat, the common people are suffering and public anger towards the government is increasing every day.”
Mandu MLA Jai Prakash Bhai Patel said, “While people are struggling for power and water in this heat, the government continues to be apathetic towards their needs. The CM is only busy in the development of his family and favourite MLAs instead of the development of the state.”
Areas like Chas, Chira Chas and Chandankyari, among others, get their power supply from Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited. The state-run discom on Tuesday had said the ongoing power shortages across Jharkhand will not improve unless thermal power plants across the country ramp up their production.
