Newborn girl found dumped inside dustbin in Hazaribag

HAZARIBAG: A newborn baby girl was found abandoned in a dustbin in Matwari locality of Hazaribag, police said. Rahul Rana of the locality said when he went to dump garbage in a dustbin he heard the sound of a baby crying. As he went close he found the sound was coming from an abandoned bag. Rahul opened the bag and found a female infant wrapped in plastic. Later, officer in-charge of the Korra Police station Uttam Tiwari handed over the baby to the authorities of Sheikh Bhikhari Medical College and Hospital. This incident became the talk of the town as the child was found in a posh locality where rich families reside. Police are trying to find out the person who dumped child into the dustbin.
