Jharkhand: Minor boy rescued in Khunti, six kidnappers arrested

RANCHI: Khunti police rescued a minor boy from the clutches of kidnappers under Murhu police station area on Wednesday.

Police on Thursday said that six accused — Vimal Dodrai, Herman Dodrai, Dayal Singh Munda, Sudhir Bodra, Etwa Odeya and Pintu Odeya — were arrested.

Kalawati Devi, the mother of the victim, had lodged a case with the police saying that the criminals took away her son from near her house on Tuesday. She added that the miscreants were demanding a ransom of Rs 1 lakh for her son’s release.
