Ganja seizure in ASR district

RAJAHMUNDRY: In three separate incidents, police have seized 265 kilograms of ganja worth 13.25 lakh in Alluri Sitharama Raju district. In the first case, the police have arrested Nimmala Manikanta of Godavari Khani, Telangana at Mothugudem police check-post while he was transporting 20 kilograms of ganja from Odisha to Telangana.

In the second case, the police seized 215 kilograms of ganja from Dheeravath Ganesh of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri of Telangana who was transporting ganja from Odisha to Telangana in his own car. In the third incident, seven persons who were possessing 30 kilograms of ganja at Chinturu bus station. They were transporting ganja from Odisha to Telangana.
