CGBSE to launch Helpline numbers for students soon

Raipur: Chhattisgarh Board Secondary Education (CGBSE) is all set to launch the helpline number which would assist the board examinees, parents and teachers with problems they face during the preparations of Board examination.CGBSE secretary V.K Goyal told TOI, the helpline numbers would be launched by Feb 20 – 21, 2024. It would resolve the queries of the students. At times the students are stressed with the question pattern of various subjects or go through the fear of exams which lead to anxiety due to which the helpline numbers are launched. It would be operational during the weekdays from morning 10 to five-and-a-half in the evening.Besides, this year a total of 89 students’ prisoners 46 appearing for standard 10 and 43 for standard 12 would be appearing for board exams from the Capital city’s jail. Currently there are four Jail centers in the state including Raipur, Raigarh, Bilaspur, and Kanker from where the student prisoners appear for the examinations.Admit cards have been distributed to the students. While bundles of answer sheets for distribution are also being prepared, he added. This year, the state has established 2,750 examination centers for the 10th and 12th-grade exams. A total of 3,47,000 students have registered for the 10th-grade exam, while 2,62,000 students have registered for the 12th-grade exam.
