Amit Shah to hold anti-Naxal meetings in CG on Aug 24

Raipur: Union home minister Amit Shah will be on a three-day visit to Chhattisgarh from Aug 23 to 25 to hold high-level meetings on anti-Naxal operations, strategies, and developments in Maoist-hit states. Shah will have meetings with heads of police, paramilitary forces, and other departments during his visit. An elaborate protocol on Shah's visit will be released by the party soon.
According to information, the Union Home Minister will be reaching Chhattisgarh on the evening of Aug 23 and is scheduled to hold meetings on Aug 24 and 25, following which he will fly back on the evening of the 25th.
It is informed that Shah will hold a meeting in Naya Raipur with the principal secretaries and secretaries of several departments, DGPs, and police chiefs of the state and other Naxal-affected states in the country.
Officers from paramilitary forces deployed in Naxal-affected areas will also participate in the meeting to review anti-Naxal operations and development activities in the respective regions.
Shah will also meet the party leaders at the party headquarters in Kushabhau Thakre Complex.
