Happy Streets to greet Kothrud residents this Sunday morning
Pune: It is time for residents of Kothrud to gear up and step out on the street this Sunday morning as Happy Streets is coming back to the area with an array of exercises and activities.
Energy will radiate across Shrikant Thakare Path in Kothrud as the young and old alike get a healthy start to the week through activities like dance, Zumba, outdoor sports, meditation and much more.
The main stage will witness a round of aerobics, Zumba and Bollywood dances under the guidance of instructors. Sporting activities like street soccer and badminton will be organized a little further ahead.
The game zone will be the perfect destination for children to play while the parents enjoy other activities lined up not very far. The Chalk Art section will bring out the inner artist among children, who can express themselves by creating art on the streets.
A little further down the road, the laughter club session by GG schools will drive away your blues by bringing you a healthy dose of laughter, especially for the elderly. The young and young-at-heart can then try their hand at skipping. The attendees can catch a break by playing a round of snakes and ladders, walking on the brick and other activities arranged by SKF.
Further, the art and craft section promises to bring out the best in the creative ones while the MTCC drum circle will help music enthusiasts try their hand at drumming.
The attendees can indulge in some Multifit and Core workout by Sportfit with the help of instructors, who will whip up activities to ensure a full body exercise. If a heavy workout is not for you, then a meditation session organized by Heartfullness will help you concentrate and take in the early morning positivity.
