3 appear as proxies in recruitment exam; held

Pune: The Vishrantwadi police arrested two people from Uttar Pradesh and one from Haryana for appearing as proxy candidates for the Border Roads Organization (BRO) recruitment exam on Tuesday.The arrested people have been identified as Paramjit Vijaypal Singh (32), who appeared as a proxy for Rampati Vishambhar Dayal (23)—both from Agra— and Sonu Suresh (22) of Haryana, who appeared as a proxy for his brother. “The three men were produced in court, which remanded them in police custody till Saturday,” senior inspector Maruti Bhapkar said and added that a search is on for two more persons.
