St Joseph of Cluny HSS clinches second prize in southern zone band competition
PUDUCHERRY: The band of St Joseph of Cluny Girls Higher Secondary School bagged the second prize at the southern zone band competition held on Sunday at G V Raja Sports School, Mylam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
It is part of the national school band competition under different education boards which will be held on January 21 and 22 next year at the National Stadium, New Delhi.
This year Kerala is entrusted with the duty of conducting southern zone band competitions. Teams from nine states - Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Puducherry, Lakshadweep, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands - across the southern zone participated in the competitions.

School principal Sr Rosily congratulated the members of the school band, physical education director V Mohana, and band master A Francis for their amazing performance.
