PM Narendra Modi wants all states, UTs to prosper: Nirmala Sitharaman

PUDUCHERRY: Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants all states and union territories to prosper and none to lag behind in development, Union finance and corporate affairs minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said.
She was speaking at a credit outreach programme organized by the state-level bankers' committee (SLBC) to disburse loans to beneficiaries under various centrally sponsored schemes on Friday.
Sitharaman said 98% of all eligible beneficiaries of 22 centrally sponsored schemes in the Union territory of Puducherry have been covered so far. She presented the sanction letters to a few of the beneficiaries from Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam.
