Auroville literary festival to discuss Sri Aurobindo's contributions to Tamil language

PUDUCHERRY: Revolutionary freedom fighter-turned-philosopher Sri Aurobindo's contributions to the Tamil language will be discussed during the two-day 'Auroville Tamil Literary Festival' organized by Auroville Foundation on Saturday and Sunday.

Niranjan Bharathi, the great-grandson of revolutionary Tamil poet Mahakavi Bharathiyar, will chair a panel discussion on 'Sri Aurobindo and Mahakavi Subramaniya Bharathiyar' at Unity Pavilion in Auroville at 12.30pm on Sunday.

The festival will include book launches, virtual reality exhibitions, talks by writers, children's debates, children's theatre arts and folk and classical arts performances.
