Work on four-lane road between Muzaffarpur and Sonbarsa will start soon: Sitamarhi MP

Sitamarhi: Outlining the restart of Riga sugar mill, Sitamarhi MP Devesh Chandra Thakur on Monday said that he has an ambitious growth and development plan for the district, mentioning the upcoming dedicated road corridor from Ayodhya. "The work on a four-lane road between Muzaffarpur and Sonbarsa will start soon. Direct rail connectivity to Ayodhya has started. A proposal to double the rail track has also been accepted by the railway board in this budget. Besides, there will be an imposing and world famous Goddess Janki temple in Sitamarhi in near future," said the MP who was in the town on the day.Thakur also narrated his Bihar Diwas commemoration at Texas in the US.Earlier, Thakur was felicitated here by the local NDA. Among those present at the function were MLAs Pankaj Kumar Mishra, Dilip Kumar Rai, Gayatri Devi and Anil Ram, MLC Rekha Kumari, former minister Ranju Geeta and senior advocate Vimal Kumar Shukla.
