Winter session ends amid ruckus in House

Patna: The last day of the winter session witnessed huge ruckus in the Upper House, with ruling and opposition MLCs locking horns with one another after leader of opposition, Samrat Chaudhary, allegedly tore a paper and threw it on the floor. The opposition members were protesting against Saran hooch tragedy and demanding compensation for the kin of the deceased. BJP MLCs entered the well of the House. Samrat tore and threw the list of the victims of Gopalganj hooch tragedy, whose family members were given financial aid. Chairperson Devesh Chandra Thakur adjourned the House till 2:30pm.
