PM cautions first-time voters against return of 'jungle raj'
In an oblique reference to Tejashwi and the land-for-jobs scam when Lalu was the railway minister in the UPA govt, Modi said, "Jinhone Bihar mein garibon ko loot kar naukri ke badle jameen likhwayi hai wo kaan khol kar sun lo, unka jail jane ka countdown shuru ho gaya hai. They will not be spared... this is the NDA govt and Modi's guarantee," he said.
Without taking the name of Tejashwi who has held more than 200 election rallies by helicopter, Modi said, "Jaise hin helicopter mein chakkar lagane ka samay pura hua, jail ka rasta tai ho jayega."
Modi also attacked the three "shahzade" (Congress's Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi party chief Akhilesh Yadav and Tejashwi) and said, "After the June 4 results, Bihar's shahzada will get busy looking after 'jamanat (bail) and amanat' while the one of Congress has already started preparations for vacation. The UP shahzada must be in a state of shock (sadma lag gaya hoga) after the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha polls. The UP shahzada even amused his supporters by claiming his alliance victory in all the 80 seats in UP. I can't say whether it is the result of Congress shahzada's companionship or his cycle (poll symbol of SP) getting punctured in one election after another."
Taking a dig at Lalu and Tejashwi, Modi said their lantern (RJD poll symbol) has illuminated only their family house and left Bihar in the dark during the 'jungle raj'.
Referring to Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar and National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah's "fear of Pakistan's atom bomb", Modi called the INDI Alliance netas "cowards" and said, "Modi inke dar ko bhi darata hai and unke (Pakistan) ghar mein ghus kar bhi marta hai. They (Pakistan) now think twice before taking any step against Bharat."
The PM also invoked Bihari pride and said the RJD leaders and Congress's 'shahi parivar' kept mum when a Congress party minister in Punjab abused Bihar people and threatened not to let them enter his state while a DMK leader in Tamil Nadu and Telangana and West Bengal chief ministers spoke against Bihar and its people.
