MOTIHARI: Poll strategist-turned-political activist Prashant Kishor (PK) on Saturday said the people of
Bihar are writhing in anger and frustration as the government has failed to provide them a good governance for the last 30 years. Unemployed youths are forced to migrate to other states as labourer, corruption in government offices has taken an ugly shape and the people have become helpless to give bribe to officers to get the benefits of government welfare schemes.

Nitish Kumar is moving on a car with security and officials in the name of yatra to review the work done by government, PK said and added he (CM) runs his government after reading newspapers only.
He should visit villages to know the reality and problems.
Addressing the media at Motihari after completing his 100 days of padyatra under the banner of Jan Suraj Abhiyan, PK took a dig at Nitish and RJD chief Lalu Prasad and said Bihar remained the most poor and backward state even after 30 years rule of the two socialist leaders. There is need of new thinking and efforts to bring a change in the state by a collective efforts of people of Bihar, he said.
"I am preparing a vision document for each panchayat for better education, heath and agriculture facilities. I shall not rest till Bihar is developed and regain it past glory," he said.
He said the basic problems are similar. There is no irrigation facility and the canal system has become useless due to criminal negligence of the Lalu and Nitish governments. All the sugar factories have been closed. Many schools and colleges have no teacher and students go to school to take their midday meal. Talking about Nal-Jal Yojana, he said this scheme has failed due to prevailing corruption in block offices. Only 10 to 20 % of the scheme is operating successfully.
