Paramedics demand fulfilment of demands

Gaya: The paramedical students of Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital (ANMMCH) have threatened to lock the principal’s office on Wednesday to exert pressure on the government to fulfill their six-point charter of demands. On Monday, these students had carried out a protest march on the college campus.

Utkarsh Shubham, a student owing allegiance to Paramedical Students’ Association-Bihar, said, “The demands include regularization of academic session, appointment of new examination controller, publication of pending results, conduct of pending examinations, formation of Bihar Paramedical Council and monthly payment of Rs 1,500 as stipend.”




The students are also demanding formulation of rules for the new paramedical courses started in Bihar, such as anaesthesia technician, blood bank technician, radiology technician, hospital domiciliary care assistant, orthotics and prosthetic plaster technician.
