“People in the state are disillusioned with Nitish Kumar due to his narrow politics for sticking to the chair. He owes an explanation to the people for this kind of politics, which the electorates in the state will not tolerate any more,” said Choudhary, who was on a two-day visit to Naugachia, Bhagalpur and Banka districts to motivate party rank and file, besides the party leaders for the 2024 Lok Sabha and 2025 state assembly elections.

State BJP president also alleged that Kumar was suffering from memory loss and this was the reason for his ‘U-turns’ on his own policies, rules, statements and deeds since 1990 and till date.

Choudhary further urged the party leaders and workers to work collectively in order to win all the 40 Lok Sabha seats in the 2024 parliamentary elections and score two-third majority in the state assembly elections in 2025.

On alcohol ban, Choudhary said the government had failed utterly in its strict implementation and claimed the crime was on the rise due to unabated smuggling of alcohol through organised nexus rampant in the state, causing huge loss to the state exchequer.

Choudhary demanded the state government to make the film ‘The Kerala Story’ tax-free in the state so that people can watch the film and see the truth. The state BJP president and other leaders also visited Banka and address the party leaders and workers in the evening. During the two-day tour to the district, JD (U) leaders Basudev Singh Kushwaha and Paresh Singh Kushwaha along with their supporters also joined BJP in the presence of the state BJP president.

Earlier, BJP state president was given a rousing welcome on reaching Naugachia on Tuesday and later on Bhagalpur where he addressed the party workers.

State BJP president along with Shahnawaj Hussain (member of the central election committee of BJP and the national spokespersons of the party), BJP MLAs Shailendra Kumar (Bihpur assembly), Pawan Yadav (Kahalgaon assembly), and several other party leaders took out a rally in Bhagalpur.
