The PM said his sole objective was to work towards building a brighter future for millions of citizens, ensuring that "your children don't suffer even a fraction of the troubles their previous generations did".
Addressing election rallies in Motihari and Maharajganj for the NDA candidates, Modi said the oppn INDIA bloc was not a political platform, but a congregation of extremely communal, casteist and dynastic people who cannot see beyond their families and can only divide the country and loot its treasures.
He said the INDIA bloc has already suffered a crushing defeat in the five phases of polls so far.
“INDI alliance wale puri tarah parast ho chuke hain. The June 4 (election) results will be a blow to the ‘tukde-tukde gang, jungle raj, appeasement policy, anti-women mindset, the dirty thinking of instigating fight in society and those having the perverse mindset of abusing ‘Sanatan’,” he said.
Will work harder for prosperity of people in Bihar & country, says PM
A ware of the anti-incumbency factor, Modi urged the electorate to vote for a “strong PM” and promised to work harder for the prosperity of people in Bihar and the country in the next five years. “Viksit Bihar aur Bharat banana hai,” he said.
Without taking names of anyone, Modi said the oppn bloc leaders in Punjab, Telangana and Tamil Nadu abused the people of Bihar and called for their boycott, but the Congress’s “shahi parivar” and its allies kept mum. “Yahan RJD wale vote mang rahe hain. Do they deserve your votes? They deserve punishment. The June 4 results will deal a severe blow to the INDI alliance leaders. Those neck-deep in corruption and convicted and outside jail on health grounds are not digesting that people of the country are going to elect Modi again for the next five years,” the PM said.
Taking a dig at the RJD for questioning his frequent visits to Bihar, the PM said it was his “sauvagya” to see and seek blessings of the people across the country. Modi visited Bihar seventh time during the ongoing election period.
Referring to the railway land-for-jobs case against Lalu and his family members, Modi asked whether those who got the poor people’s land registered in lieu of giving jobs can do any good to the youths? He said the NDA govt of CM Nitish Kumar and late Sushil Kumar Modi (BJP leader who was deputy CM) brought out Bihar from the quagmire of RJD’s jungle raj.
