PATNA: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad's daughters Misa Bharti and Rohini Acharya are among the party's 22 Bihar Lok Sabha candidates declared Tuesday, with the latter making her poll debut.

Rohini has been fielded from Saran (earlier Chhapra) and elder sister Misa from Pataliputra. This marks Misa's third consecutive nomination from Pataliputra. She had lost in 2014 and 2019.

The RJD list was issued 11 days after a seat deal with Grand Alliance partners Congress and others. RJD got the lion's share of 26 seats, followed by nine for Congress. Five went to Left parties CPI-ML, CPI and CPM.

Last week, RJD included Mukesh Sahani's VIP - a former BJP ally-in Grand Alliance by allotting three seats from its share. Sources said RJD is yet to decide the candidate for Siwan.
