Multiple entry points

The road provides city access at seven locations—Atal Path, LCT Ghat, Gandhi Maidan (near AN Sinha Institute), PMCH, Krishna Ghat, Gaighat, and Kangan Ghat.

Additional connectivity approved

The state has cleared plans to link JP Ganga Path with the road being constructed over Mandiri Nala and has approved a down ramp at Gaighat for smoother access.

Planned Ganga Path extension

The Ganga Path will be extended westward up to the Ganga bridge in Bhojpur and eastward till Mokama via Fatuha, Bakhtiyarpur, and Barh.

Bridge network enhanced

The road currently connects JP Setu and Gandhi Setu and will also link with three more bridges over the Ganga, improving north-south Bihar connectivity.

Integrated with ring road

Its alignment with the Patna ring road has elevated its strategic importance, serving as a vital corridor for intra-city travel.

9/9

Public space development

JP Ganga Path has evolved into a popular evening hangout with roadside vendors and is set to get an integrated park from Digha to Gandhi Maidan, further enriching its appeal.
