GA leaders plagued by selfishness: Minister
Patna: State rural development department (RDD) minister, Shrawan Kumar, alleged here on Wednesday that the Grand Alliance (GA) partners are plagued by selfish ambition and interests of their leaders, and the welfare of people is not on their mind."The fundamental aspect of the GA is the personal interests and ambition of its leaders, and they have no concerns about the welfare of the people," the RDD minister said, adding, "In their pursuit of power, belittling the state has become their habit, but the people have long understood their game, and they would give a fitting reply to them in the coming assembly elections.""CM Nitish Kumar has been persistently working for the good and betterment of the people of Bihar, while the opposition leaders neither have a vision, nor any positive thinking for the good of the people," Shrawan said.Shrawan, along with building construction department minister Jayant Raj and education minister Sunil Kumar, was addressing reporters at the state JD(U) headquarters after the conclusion of their interaction with people who had come from different corners of the state for the solution of their grievances and problems.Raj said the CM has shown his commitment to making development initiatives and doing the work for the progress of the state and its people. "Not only the CM reviewed the state of development at the district headquarters during his Pragati Yatra, but has also been implementing the promises he made to the people during that yatra," he said.Education minister Sunil Kumar thanked the CM for introducing the domicile policy.
