Extortion demand from JD(U) MP: Accused yet to be arrested

PATNA: The police failed to arrest anyone in connection with the complaint lodged by JD(U) MP Sunil Kumar Pintu accusing a woman and her associates of demanding extortion of Rs2 crore. The complaint was registered at Shastrinagar police station in Patna on Thursday.

SSP Rajiv Mishra on Friday said the police are still investigating the matter and will soon solve the case.

The MP from Sitamarhi has accused one Pooja Kumari and others of demanding Rs 2 crore as extortion from him by threatening to make viral his morphed photographs and videos on social media.
