5 stolen bikes found, 10 held
PATNA: Police on Thursday arrested 10 criminals of a gang from different locations in Patna district and recovered five stolen bikes from their possesion. SSP Garima Malik said, “On Thursday four criminals were nabbed from Khemnichak under Ram Krishna Nagar police station area while they were trying to flee with two bikes after stealing them. Their interrogation led to arresting of six more along with three more stolen bikes from different locations.
Two arrested: Police on late Thursday night arrested Mohammad Kamran and Sahroj Akhtar from Punpun police station area in Patna district who had looted a car from one Shailesh Kumar.
Two arrested in dacoity case: Police on Friday arrested one Anuj Kumar from Jakkanpur police station area and Jitendra Kumar from Biharsharif in Nalanda district and recovered Rs 5 lakh in cash, two live cartridges, one country-made pistol and two cellphones from a flat at Kankarbagh. The duo were arrested in connection with a dacoity of Rs 1.3 lakh cash along with jewellery from the residence of a life insurance agent Harendra Tiwari at Goria Kothi under Ram Krishna Nagar police station area on June 28.
CSP owner shot dead: A customer service point (CSP) owner was shot dead at a village under Goriyakothi police station area in Siwan district on Friday. About Rs 2.4 lakh looted cash was recovered from his possession. TNN
