on February 28. Several looted items and Rs 50,000 in cash were recovered from them.

The arrested criminals were identified as Chotu Dom,

Rocky Kumar

, Deepak Dom and Mohd Afsar.

Patna SSP Manavjit Singh Dhillon said more than 28 cases are registered against the arrested criminals. “Forty-five bags of brown sugar, a country-made pistol, a live cartridge, three sharp weapons, looted cash, cellphones and wire were recovered from the possession of the arrested criminals,” the SSP added.

Man stabbed: A drug-addict stabbed a man after the latter resisted his loot bid at Malahi Pakri under the Kankarbagh police station area in Patna in the wee hours of Tuesday. The victim was identified as Shantanu Singh. Police said the accused, Balram Kumar, was arrested.

“The accused, who lives in MIG Colony, had entered Singh’s house with an intention of robbery. When Singh resisted, he stabbed him with a knife and tried to escape.
