NEW DELHI: A fire broke out at a private firm in Noida’s Sector 2 in the early hours of Friday. Fire tenders were quickly dispatched to the site to bring the blaze under control. While the exact cause of the fire remains unknown, no casualties have been reported so far.
In a separate incident around the same time, a massive fire erupted at a paint company in Sector 2, Bawana, in the national capital. According to the Delhi Fire Service (DFS), 25 fire engines were deployed to tackle the blaze, and no injuries or casualties have been reported.
Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar said that the fire department received information about the incident at around 5:30 a.m. Two fire tenders were initially sent, but due to the severity of the fire, additional units were called in from Hapur, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad, and Meerut. Private firefighting teams also joined the effort, and the CFO of Ghaziabad was present at the site.
"The fire has not spread to adjoining factories," Kumar told news agency ANI, adding that further investigations are underway to determine the cause of the incident.
