Nashik: Six people died in three different accidents in Jalgaon, Nandurbar and Nashik city on Wednesday.In Jalgaon, spice vendor Muzaffarali Sayyad (60) and his wife, Taherabi (55) — residents of the Piprala Hudco area — were travelling on a motorcycle to Fardapur area in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to attend his cousin's daughter's wedding. While they were returning home, an unidentified speeding vehicle struck their bike near a bridge between Umala and Gadegaon. The impact threw them onto the pavement and they suffered serious injuries. Locals rushed the duo to Govt Medical College in Jalgaon, but doctors declared them dead on arrival.Similarly, four men travelling on two motorcycles were returning home in the evening when their vehicles were hit by an unknown vehicle in Shahada taluka of Nandurbar district. The impact claimed the lives of Ishwarsingh Valvi, Goval Valvi and Deepak Padvi, all residents of Dhadgaon taluka. The fourth traveller was was injured.In the third incident, Prabhakar Nikam (49), a resident of Ashok Nagar Road of Nashik city, was returning home after closing the shop when an unknown vehicle knocked down his motorcycle late on Tuesday night. The accident claimed his life. The Ambad police registered a complaint of causing death due to negligence agaist the suspect."Nikam's son, Bhavesh, took his father to the Civil Hospital. However, doctor's declared Nikam dead," said an officer from the Ambad police.
