Woman Hangs Self During Video Call After Husband Sees Another Man's Name in Caller ID

Nagpur: A 29-year-old woman allegedly died by suicide at her residence in Wathoda shortly after a video call with her husband, police said.The woman, Abhilasha, was reportedly questioned by her husband after he noticed an incoming call on her phone from a man identified as Sultan Khan. He also informed his brother about the matter, further escalating the situation.Police said Abhilasha, apparently distressed by the questioning, hanged herself in the bedroom using a blanket. Family members rushed her to a hospital, where she was declared dead at 1.55am on Monday.Wathoda police have registered a case of accidental death and sent the body for postmortem examination.Neighbours described Abhilasha as a homemaker who largely stayed indoors and said there was no known history of disputes in the family.
