Double delight for Dhole, Dhoke

Nagpur: Jayendra Dhole and Manjiri Dhoke clinched twin titles in the Khasdar Krida Mahotsav badminton tournament at the Subhedar Hall on Thursday.While Dhole stamped his authority in the men's singles and doubles 45+ Masters group, Dhoke underlined her supremacy in the women's singles, doubles 35+ age category.In the 45+ group, Dhole rallied splendidly to prevail over his doubles partner Homiyar Dumasia 9-15, 15-9, 15-8. The Dhole-Dumasia duo then made light work of the pair of Devashis Barick and Pinaki Mukherjee 15-10, 15-8 in the 45+ men's doubles section.In the women's 35+ singles final, Manjiri Dhoke had to sweat hard to get the better of Swati Khandekar 15-8, 16-18, 15-9. Later, Dhoke paired up with Madhavi Hedaoo to clinch the doubles title with a straight-games 15-11, 15-10 triumph over Anjali Kale and Anamika Durgpurohit.The men's singles 35+ final was dominated by Ajay Dayal, who made light work of Priyam Subhlok 15-4, 15-12.
