Amit Shah’s meticulous planning pivotal to BJP’s electoral triumphs: Mungantiwar
Nagpur: Senior BJP leader and Maharashtra forest minister Sudhir Mungantiwar attributed the party's electoral successes in state and national elections to Union home minister Amit Shah's meticulous planning.During a media interaction in the city on Tuesday, Mungantiwar stated that the party is well-equipped for the assembly election on November 20. On the party's past election triumphs, including recently in Haryana, the Ballarpur MLA said, "Everyone presumed Haryana was lost, but Shah's strategy yielded us an unprecedented victory for the third time, vanquishing anti-incumbency. He possesses an aptitude for comprehensive electoral planning."Mungantiwar, who had lost the Lok Sabha election this year from Chandrapur, said the party has commenced preparations for the assembly election, with full-fledged efforts underway following Vijayadashami. "We would ensure that the Mahayuti alliance secures a resounding victory in Maharashtra," he stated. Responding to queries on internal party dynamics and leaders potentially returning to BJP, Mungantiwar welcomed Ashish Jaiswal to the Shinde camp, extolling his dedication and unwavering efforts. He also acknowledged there is some discontentment among BJP workers over Chandrapur MLA Kishore Jorgewar's possible return but said that such concerns are being addressed. He denounced the Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) likening the alliance partners to students who repeatedly fail examinations despite proffering excuses. The senior BJP leader also assured that incumbent MLAs will be assessed based on their prowess and ability to secure victory. "We will select candidates who can effectively represent the party and win in seats, with an emphasis on bolstering BJP's hold in the state," he said.On the election code of conduct which is now in force, Mungantiwar said it will not impinge on BJP's preparations. "We operate incessantly throughout the year, and the sole difference the code brings is the postponement of inaugurations. Our development endeavours persist," he said.Reaffirming his confidence in the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance's leadership and Shah's strategy, he said, "The public recognises that the Mahayuti is robust and united, unlike the MVA, which is plagued by internal conflicts."
