Youth dies in accident

Udupi: Karthik Shetty 22, son of Uday Shetty, a resident of Yerukone near Byndoor, was killed on the spot when a tempo-traveller hit his two-wheeler from behind on National Highway 66 in Nagoor near Byndoor here on Tuesday. Karthik was going to drop his friend Nitish at Byndoor Naguru bus station when the accident took place. Nitish is undergoing treatment.

Byndoor police have seized the tempo-traveller and have arrested the driver.
