Thane fire

A major fire broke out at a wafers godown in the Manpada area of Thane city in the wee hours on Friday. The fire broke out at Pepsi and Lays wafers godown (around 6,200 sq. feet) located at Kothari Compound in Manpada. The incident took place around 2:20 am. One fire engine, two jumbo water tankers, one water tanker, and one rescue vehicle, and one JCB were rushed to the spot. No injuries were reported. Photo by Anil Shinde/BCCL

No masks

CM Thackeray pays tribute

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray visited the Shivneri Fort in Pune district on Friday to pay homage to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on his birth anniversary. Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Aaditya Thackeray and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar also accompanied the CM. The Maratha warrior king was born in Shivneri, located in Junnar tehsil of Pune, in 1630.

Bus depot's name changed
