MUMBAI: Commuters in
Dadar
were surprised on Wednesday morning to see a unique small bus with BEST logo at the bus stop near Siddhivinayak Temple. It was Mumbai's first AC mini bus, with the new look, which is being deployed on feeder routes.
The
buses
will connect nearby areas in Dadar to the Kohinoor public parking lot and will run on all days, said an official. The route will be from Kohinoor public parking lot to Antonio Da Silva High School, Prabhodhankar Thackeray Chowk, Agar Bazaar, Siddhivinayak Temple, Kirti College, Catering College, Chaityabhoomi, Shivaji Park gymkhana and Balmohan School.
The purpose is to decongest roads by encouraging parking in the public parking lot.
