50 COVID deaths in Mumbai

Mumbai city on Saturday saw a spike of 9,327 new cases, taking the overall tally to 5,10,225. Whereas, 50 people also lost their lives. 8,474 people were discharged in the last 24 hours. So far, 4,06,087 people have been recovered. Active cases stand at 91,108.

Weekend lockdown kicks in

As per the state government's order, weekend lockdown was imposed across Mumbai from Friday night and Mumbaikars woke up to deserted streets on Saturday morning.
