Govt should speak about its rate card instead, says Patole
Mumbai: MPCC president Nana Patole on Wednesday launched a frontal attack against the Mahayuti govt led by Eknath Shinde, saying that instead of a report card, he should speak on the "rate card." A few days ago, Maha Vikas Aghadi leaders Patole, Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray had declared "the rate card" of the Mahayuti govt. The MVA released the rates "for the purchase of MLAs and the transfer of high-ranking officials and bureaucrats.""Maharashtra was leading under the Congress, but agents of Gujarat ruined it in just two years. Only beloved industrialists and contractors have benefited under the BJP alliance govt, while farmers and common people have suffered immensely," Patole said.Patole stated that the state's self-respecting citizens will not allow the "treacherous, anti-Maharashtra" Mahayuti to return to power. It will be dislodged in the ensuing assembly elections, he said. "Shinde's claims on development are false and fabricated. In fact, Shinde took over the reins through conspiracies, dishonesty, and unconstitutional methods," he said.Patole mentioned that during Congress rule, Maharashtra was leading in all sectors. However, under Shinde and Fadnavis, it has deteriorated steadily, he claimed. "For the Mahayuti, the state govt has become an ATM. Large projects that were intended for Maharashtra have been diverted to Gujarat, while Shinde, Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar have maintained a discreet silence. It has resulted in massive unemployment. Important land parcels in Mumbai have been handed over to their beloved industrialists," he said. TNN
