Doctors on duty

As coronavirus cases continue to swell in Mumbai, healthcare professionals in the city are working round the clock to ensure that COVID-19 patients get the best treatment and recover from the infection soon. Even after recovering from the infection, patients are being advised to take utmost care of themselves and monitor their health for the next few days. Drive-in vaccination continues

The drive-in vaccination centres set up across Mumbai have been getting a lot of positive responses from the citizens. Just in the first five days of the drive-in facilities, close to 3000 persons had received the vaccine. Vaccine shortage

Meanwhile, Mumbai continues to face the vaccine crunch, which has resulted into massive inconvenience for citizens, especially for senior citizens. On Tuesday, the ESIS Hospital in Vashi, Navi Mumbai ran out of vaccine stocks and beneficiaries were seen arguing and complaining to the officials present at the site.

Covaxin doses for 45+

The Maharashtra Government has decided to divert Covaxin doses that were purchased for vaccinating the 18-44 age group people, towards the completion of second doses of the 45 plus age group beneficiaries. Nearly 5 lakh people are due for a second dose, hence, the Uddhav Thackeray-led government has decided to divert the doses.
