MUMBAI: The Narcotics control Bureau (NCB) on Monday questioned lesser known
film director Sahil Kohli
after his name cropped up during interrogation of South African national Agisilaos Demetriades who was arrested on Sunday with one strip of
Alprazolam
containing 15 tablets and 0.8 gm of hashish.
In another case, NCB seized 353 gm of Ephedrine and a
canister
of chemical believed to be Propiophenone, used for
synthesis
of Ephedrine, from a godown in Palghar and arrested one Atul Khanivedkar.
Ephedrine, sale of which is banned in India, is used to treat asthma and bronchitis. It is, however, used illegally to make party drug crystal meth.
