World Cancer Day

On the occasion of World Cancer Day, Apollo Cancer Centre (Navi Mumbai) motivated cancer survivors as well as healthcare workers, for fighting cancer and the coronavirus pandemic. Nana Patole resigns

Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Nana Patole resigned from his post on Thursday. He submitted his resignation to Deputy Speaker Narhari S Zhirwal, after a tenure of nearly 14 months. Mob attacks cops

Three police personnel were injured after relatives of a chain snatcher attacked them while they were arresting the accused from Ambivali near Kalyan. The incident took place on Thursday in Iranipada, and a video of it has gone viral on the internet. A team of the crime branch of MBVV (Mira Bhayandar Vasai Virar) commissionerate had gone to the locality to nab the notorious chain snatcher and was returning in two jeeps after apprehending him. At that time, around 15 to 20 people, both men and women, attacked the cops and damaged their vehicles to facilitate the escape of the chain snatcher.

Guru Kripa owner dies

Vishindas Wadhwa, founder of the landmark Guru Kripa restaurant in Sion, passed away aged 76. The Sindhi restaurant is famous for its samosa and chhole tikki which is savoured by college students of nearby SIES, as well as by celebrities and film stars.

First naval museum
