Cong replaces its candidate from Andheri W

Mumbai: Congress on Sunday nominated Ashok Jadhav from Andheri West assembly constituency. Earlier, it had nominated state Congress general secretary Sachin Sawant, but he expressed his inability to contest. Sandeep Pandey has been nominated from Nalasopara.
Congress announced 20 names, taking the total number of candidates to 99. Three are SC nominees, while one is a ST candidate. Former legislator Dilip Mane has been nominated from Solapur South from where Sena (UBT) has named Amar Ratikant Patil. Other nominees include Anil Shinde from Amalner, Sanjay Meshram from Umred, Ramdas Meshram from Armori, Pravin Padwekar from Chandrapur, Santosh Rawat from Ballarpur, Pravin Kakade from Warora, Abdul Sattar Abdul Gafur from Nanded North, Lahu Shewale from Aurangabad East, Dattaray Bahirat from Shivajinagar, Ramesh Bhagwe from Pune Cantonment and Bhagirath Bhalke from Pandharpur. —Prafulla Marpakwar
