Camps on child safety for school bus drivers

Mumbai: Following the Badlapur abuse case, School Bus Owners Association (SBOA) is organising sensitisation camps for drivers and female attendants of school buses. On Wednesday, sessions on child safety, such as maintaining appropriate boundaries, ensuring a female attendant's presence and functional CCTV cameras, were held at Virar, Vasai and Mira-Bhayander schools. More camps will be held at Andheri and other areas on Thursday, said SBOA head Anil Garg. —Somit Sen
