This is a tragic event that could have been avoided very easily.One of the two who died is a college student. Only his negligence and indicipline have resulted in their death.The need for strict discipline among college/school students was already emphasized very strongly in my Tamil book titled 'Naadu!...., Adthai Naadu!' published about two years ago and which elicited positive reviews from the popular Tamil Dailies 'DINAMALAR' of 2.10.17 and 'DAILY THANTHI' of 21.3.18.If the several ways and means sugegested therein for creating awareness among all sections of our society are taken note of by the authorities holding power of the administration and implemented gradually, it will bring only good for all of us.
