Wife, daughter blind man with chilli powder in Ludhiana’s Sidhwan Bet area.

Ludhiana: Sidhwan Bet police have booked a woman and her minor daughter for allegedly assaulting her husband with a wooden churner and chilli powder during a domestic dispute.

The man reported that upon returning home from work around 10pm on April 27, he discovered his wife had moved his personal belongings out of their bedroom and into the kitchen.

When he questioned the relocation, a heated argument quickly turned physical. The complainant alleged that his wife attacked him with a traditional wooden churner (madhani), causing injuries, while their minor daughter threw chilli powder into his eyes to aid the assault.

Authorities have registered a criminal case under Sections 115(2) and 117(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
