My mother’s brother (Mamaji) paid my registration fees and Jagdish from an NGO has supported my studies. I never used to spend my pocket money and saved Rs10,000 for further studies,” she said.
Anurag Gupta has topped the CA intermediate 2019 November examination with an impressive fifth All India Rank with 661 score out of 800 with highest marks 93 in audit subject. His twin brother Parag Gupta has secured 23rd all India rank with 621 marks.
Residing near CMCH, the 19-year-old boys have a difference of 16 minutes in their birth. Anurag, the eldest one has secured 13th AIR in CA foundation course with 357 out 400 and 29th AIR with 341 out of 400. Now, they are pursuing BCom IV semester from Panjab University, Chandigarh.
They have done their schooling from Green Land Public School and Anurag has secured 97.8% and was second district topper and Parag secured 97.2%. Their father Arvind Gupta is a manager in a private firm and mother Mona Gupta is a tutor. Their brother, Divanshu is pursuing MTech from IIT Mandi. They both said, “The level of exam was way different from that of foundation. It was difficult and tough. We used to study 8-10 hours, besides coaching. Navroop mam from my school has motivated us a lot. We meditate for concentration, and we have refrained from social media, as it is a drain.” He said, “Consistency is the key. It is important to have a sitting of 8-10 hours, and we feel that online classes are distractors.”
