Yellow saree to black tee: New look makes UP poll officer Reena Dwivedi go viral again

, woman polling officer, who became an internet sensation during 2019 Lok Sabha polls due to her yellow saree, took social media by storm yet again on Tuesday, a day before polling in Lucknow.

This time she appeared clad in sleeveless black top and beige pants.

Scores of police and central paramilitary personnel deployed on poll duty were also spotted taking selfies with the officer when she reached Smriti Upvan in Aashiana on Tuesday.

Posted as a senior assistant with the

Public Works Department

(PWD) in Lucknow, she will be discharging her duties as a polling officer at Bastiyaan Gosaiganj 114, polling station in

Mohanlalganj

on Wednesday.

“I appeal to all the citizens to vote. It is a democracy’s greatest power where you can choose your representative which will shape the future of your nation. Every vote counts, so vote to make your country strong and better,” she said, while talking to TOI.

On being asked about the limelight on her, and the change in attire, she said, “Saree was 2019, this is 2022, and so it had to be different.”

Reena Dwivedi has over 2 lakh followers on Instagram.

She hogged the limelight last time when during poll duty her colleague clicked her in a ‘yellow saree’.

Hailing from Deoria, she had then expressed her desire to join the TV reality show after her pictures went viral.
