Vishnu Bhagwan, Amenity excel in Concord soccer

Lucknow: Vishnu Bhagwan Public School, Prayagraj bagged the girls’ championship trophy and Amenity Public School, Uttarakhand won the boys’ championship trophy in the five-day international football tournament 'CONCORD-2022' organized by City Montessori School which concluded on Thursday.
In the girls’ final match, played at the CMS Jai Jagat stadium, Vishnu Bhagwan Public School, Prayagraj beat City Montessori School 5-0.
Anchal Patel of Vishnu Bhagwan School, Prayagraj was declared the player of the match, while Drishika Pandey of CMS was declared the ‘Player of the series’.
The final match in the boys’ category was played between City Montessori School and Amenity Public School, Uttarakhand. In which the latter won by 5-3 through a tie-breaker.
Earlier, in the boys’ semi-final matches, Amenity Public School, Uttarakhand defeated Takshila Academy, Ambedkar Nagar 2-0 and City Montessori School defeated Everest Academy, Nepal 1-0. At the closing ceremony CMS founder and renowned educationist Jagdish Gandhi blessed the young players.
