Lucknow: An unbeaten 115-run innings by Neeraj and a three-wicket haul by Rupesh helped Delhi XI demolish Kanpur XI by 128 runs in the inaugural match of the All India Media Premier League on Friday.
In the second match of the day, Chandigarh beat Prayagraj. Due to adverse weather conditions, the number of overs in both the matches were cut down to 15.
Batting first, Delhi XI scored 186 runs. Neeraj remained unbeaten at 115. Vansham contributed 31 runs. Prashant, Alok and Manish of Kanpur XI took one wicket each. In reply, Kanpur XI could score just 58 runs in 12.1 overs. Vaibhav scored highest 16 runs. TNN
