LUCKNOW: Special prayers would be conducted for people affected by coronavirus across the world after Friday prayers in several mosques of the city.
Imam of the Aishbagh Eidgah Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali on Thursday said Imams at various mosques in the city have been requested to spread awareness about precautions for the virus on Friday. He added prayers will also be conducted to get rid of the virus and the disease.
"There should not be panic but awareness on precautions to be taken by people in view of the worldwide spread of this virus. The mosques will step up for the purpose and awareness will be disseminated to people coming for Juma prayers," said Maulana Khalid Rasheed Farangi Mahali.
