CLAT: 5 candidates from city in top 100

Lucknow: Five candidates from Lucknow made it to top 100 in the Common Law Aptitude Test (CLAT) Undergraduate course, whose results were declared by Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, on Tuesday. RMLNLU was the convening university for CLAT 2026.

The highest score achieved in CLAT UG was 112.75.

Among the five Lucknow candidates in top 100, two were girls and three boys. Candidates can download their official scorecards by logging into their accounts on the CLAT 2026 portal.


Bengaluru topped the list with 15 students making it to top 100, followed by Delhi (eight candidates) and Mumbai (seven). Chennai, Hyderabad, and Jaipur had six candidates each, while Gurgaon, Greater Noida/Noida and Lucknow had five candidates each.

Four candidates from Hisar also made it to top 100. Conducted on Dec 7 at 156 centres in 25 states and 4 UTs, CLAT saw a robust overall attendance percentage of 96.01%. Among the candidates who appeared, 57% were female, 43% male and nine transgenders.

In the PG course, Delhi had the highest number of 22 candidates in top 100, followed by Jabalpur (eight) and Jaipur (seven). Lucknow had four candidates in top 100.

The highest mark secured in the CLAT 2026 PG was 104.25.

Participating National Law Universities will conduct the admissions process for the five-year integrated UG and PG programmes commencing in the academic year 2026-27 based on CLAT 2026 scores, said a press release issued by the convening university.
