Banerjee, alleging irregularities in the

Nandigram

polls, after counsel for BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari submitted that a transfer plea on the matter had already been filed in the Supreme Court.

Justice Shampa Sarkar accepted the plea and adjourned the hearing till November 15. Banerjee had moved court after the Election Commission declared Adhikari the winner in the closely fought Nandigram polls in which she was the Trinamool candidate. The margin of victory was 1,956 votes.
