Oramas named Gokulam head coach

Kochi: Gokulam Kerala FC on Tuesday announced the signing of Spaniard Domingo Oramas as the new head coach of the men’s team for the upcoming season. “With more than 20 years of coaching experience and a proven track record of success, the 49-year-old brings a wealth of expertise and a winning mentality to the club," said the club in a statement released on Tuesday.Oramas, who won the Las Palmas Football Federation’s Best Coach of the Year award in 2014, has led the Spanish side UD San Fernando to the third tier of Spanish football.Oramas has worked as the assistant football director for Independiente del Valle in Ecuador and prepared the first-team players for a successful season that culminated in winning the Sudamericana Cup 2019."I am thrilled to be a part of Gokulam Kerala FC, a club with a rich history and a strong desire to win, we can achieve great things together.
