In memory of Aline, Supplyco to launch notebooks today

Kochi: The official launch of notebooks under Supplyco Aline brand will be conducted by minister of food and civil supplies, Anoop Jacob, at Ernakulam Guest House on Tuesday afternoon.

This year’s notebooks by Supplyco are released in memory of 10-month-old Aline Sherin Abraham, who became the youngest organ donor in Kerala. She succumbed to injuries sustained in a road accident at Kottayam. Her two kidneys, corneas, liver and heart valves were donated.

During the event, presided over by Kochi corporation mayor Minimol V K, Aline’s parents Arun Abraham and Sherin Ann John, will be honoured.

Participants will include T J Vinod, MLA, Hibi Eden, MP, corporation councillor Augustine Sebastian, Supplyco managing director Jayakrishnan V M and general manager M U Biju.

Students from Sacred Heart College, Thevara, who completed the notebook cover design, will also be commended at the gathering.

Meanwhile, Supplyco officials informed that its outlets, except for medical stores, will remain open on Wednesday. The sales of Bakrid kits of Supplyco have been extended until Wednesday. However, the outlets will remain closed on Thursday.
